Sino Nga Ba Ang Talo?

Sumuko sina Sen. Trillanes at Brig. Gen. Lim sa kanilang paninindigan sa Manila Peninsula ngayong hapon... sila nga ba ang talo?

Nakakalunos at nakakaawa ang mamamayan...

Pagod ka na bang maging si Juan? ... ako MEDYO... MAY PAG-ASA PA BA?

Siguro.... sana nga meron pa...

Pagod Ka Na Bang Maging si Juan?

post manila pen reflection from mindanao:

1) it is difficult to mobilize people to the streets if they are hungry.

- i talked with an enlisted marine, his heart was bleeding for Trillanes, "mabati gyud naku ang iyang kasuko kay kabalo siya unsa kalisud ang ultimo nga sundalo" (I can feel his anger because he knows the hardship of the ordinary soldier.)

- but he added, dili lang sa mi apil apil kay daku pa ako utang AFPSLAI, nya duha pa ako college students (but i will not get involved because i still have a big loan from AFPSLAI and i still have two college students)

- another community leader texted me that he cried when government started teargasing them but felt helpless, not because he was not in manila but doesn't even have a fare to go any place here in CDO if there would be mass mobilization in support of the manila pen action (as it did happen during EDSA 1 and 2, people here converged in the Kiosko Kagawasan (Freedom Kiosk) in downtown divisoria.

-that without money flowing from erap and other rich businessmen sympathetic to social charge people cannot be brought to the streets for the sole reason that they are busy earning their next meal.

2. the call of trillanes and lim were not unheard, but people do sympathize with their valid cause but for one reason or another cannot go to the streets, among the reasons was the lack of alternative leader.

3. at best their action was "bearing witness" action and it was successful but with a very big consequence on them and our other freedoms like freedom of the press and movement (that curfew sucks)

4. The political opposition is deplorable. Where is Sen. Chiz Escudero? Binay? Cayetano? Lacson? Pimentel? Legarda? Mga opportunists! , duwag!

The challenge now is to move on with our struggle but we should now seriously explore other more creative means and repudiate impetouosity, insurrectionism and dogmatism.

There is a crying need for a new leader, Trillanes and Lim may have opened the way even paying it with their own liberties. We also thank our senior leaders like former VP Teofisto Guingona, BP Labayen, Dodong Nemenzo, among others for demonstrating that there is a need to sustain this struggle and that there should not be stopping of this struggle.

the whole country..if you want the answer to that question.

back to basics tayo. we in mindanao though our our hearts burning for good governance and ridding of GMA as Garci is enjoying the bliss of his retirement in his dream farm at the foot of one of the planet's most biodiverse sites, Mt. Kitanglad (Garci is now busying himself in his farm in Baungon, Bukidnon).

Siguro, the hawks will have to stay back for the moment, hali kayo rito, we can do a lot in making our communities sustainable and harmonious.

Back to basics muna tayo. Methinks, we need to rethink nationhood and go back to the basics. Pilipinas was not there because of a Central Government called Manila, NCR, but rather it is the sum of all communities in this beloved archipelago of ours.

Anhi na mo sa probinsya where the real action for social change is, and that action is to make all communities sustainably productive and harmonious, later on we can converge and share our stories... and we all live happily after.
