Elders and seniors got a heartwarming surprise as they were honored with gifts from SM Supermalls.

Each of the seniors received basic necessities such as toiletries, vitamins, new clothes, along with a hearty meal. SM Bulacan Malls in Marilao, Baliwag and San Jose Del Monte likewise donated groceries, health as well as household products.

“Apart from inculcating a sense of civic responsibility among our employees, the heart of our Serve More Love for the elderly project is to honor them (elderly), acknowledge their wisdom, and appreciate their contribution in our society” said SM City Marilao Human Resources Manager Prescila Salamat.

“Serve More Love for the Elderly” is one of the many projects under the Employee Volunteerism Program that is spearheaded by the Human Resources Department. The program aims to build a culture of volunteerism among employees by engaging them in activities that drive change in society to make a difference.
